All Week: ***REGISTRATION & Class Placements (for Ages 10 and Up) February 3rd thru February 7th : Cortney needs a minimum of 70 dancers to put on a show in the spring.
Dancers need to register for classes and pay all performance fees by Friday, February7th. If quota is not met dancers who registered will be refunded and the session will be cancelled.
Dancers Ages 10 and up need to attend Technique Classes Feb3rd thru Feb7th which will determine class placements for the rest of Spring and for the show. Even if I know you already you need to attend so that I may balance the classes by similar levels and evaluate your current skill level since we have had an extended break. (Note: if you are under the age of 10 (6-9) and would like to attend placements for fun, you may BUT will most likely be put into the Fundamental Classes.
Registration for Dance Conventions to Tremaine LA and CAPHERD Palm Springs will also be taking place. Febrary 3-7th.
Lastly if you are interested in Competing at Showstoppers Anaheim Memorial Day Weekend… Talk to Cortney ASAP! And plan on a mandatory meeting Saturday, February 8th @NOON! ***Furthermore dancers who sign up and are chosen to compete on the Advanced Hip Hop Comp Team with Marcus will start rehearsals February 8th and 9th!!!

Fundamentals: Each class will learn one, 2 minute number for the show.
Hip Hop and Tap Classes: (Cortney, MarkE, Emily, & Delanie) Each Class will learn one number for the show. (Beginning 2min; Intermediate 2:30; Advanced 3 min)
Tots Classes: Each class will learn two short numbers for the show (between 1 and 1:30 minutes) for each style of dance taught during that hour.
Lyrical: Each Class will learn one number for the show. (Beginning / Intermediate 2:30; Intermediate/Advanced 3 min)
Ballet/ Modern: Combo classes are two hours long. Each class will learn one number for each style of dance. Therefore dancers are technically taking two classes and therefore performing two different numbers for the show. (Beginning 2min each; Intermediate 2:30 each; Advanced 3 min each)

Pointe: Will learn one or two short numbers for the show depending on skill level of the dancers enrolled in the class.
CREW: Is a free class for dancers ages 4th grade and up who are enrolled in at least one other technique class offered by Dancers Anonymous. Crew will have student choreographers… Style of dance TBA… length of dance TBA. Check the calendar to audition to TEACH during CREW.
Student Auditioned Choreo: Dancers must participate in Crew in order to audition their own choreo. NEW: Solos can be NO longer then exactly 1minute. Duets and Trio can be NO longer then exactly 1:30. Group pieces with four or more dancers can be NO longer then exactly 2minutes. Check the calendar for audition times and dates.
Competition Numbers: If you wish to compete at Disneyland this year you must attend all the Class Placements and Conditioning February 3rd thru 7th. You and a guardian must attend the mandatory meeting Saturday, February 8th. All skill levels and ages will be considered but might not be chosen. All competition numbers will be 3 min in length and have sporadic rehearsal times on the weekends and occasionally during the week as well during the 3pm time slots that are available.
